An unexpected dream in 2014 sparked a deep passion for weaving, transforming a complete beginner into a fiber artist focused on texture, contrast, and emotion. Her work explores the tension between order and chaos, expressed through bold, tactile compositions ranging from vibrant color to earthy, minimal tones. Weaving is both creative outlet and lifeline—helping process anxiety, grief, and joy while building community and confidence. She sources materials from women-owned businesses worldwide, reflecting her values as a queer single mother committed to supporting other women. Active in the online fiber community, she shares openly about mental health, neurodivergence, queerness, sobriety, and single parenting—inviting connection beyond the work itself.
